the beginning

i am starting this blog a few weeks before i go to london, mostly because i am incapable of resisting all forms of procrastination during the hell that is paperwriting. i would like to thank avi zvi zenilman for joining in on the effort to destroy my life by convincing me that i did indeed need another useless tool of self-destruction at 5 a.m. with five pages to go of a shitty shitty paper.

but really, i begin this blog in anticipation of my days in dreary london, and with the hope that the poor souls at home will read it now and then to learn that kate is still indeed alive. mostly it is just an experimentation, and i really just want to end this post and feel a sick sense of ownership over my new, insignificant and idiotic, blog.
